Recording Sheets are used to export dialogue lines for voice recording sessions, track recording progress, and re-import updates back into FTVO.
Open the VO Manager:
Create a list of lines in the Results area using search filters such as:
Before exporting, lines must have the correct Line Status.
Lines must be set to to-record or to-retake to be exported as Recordable lines.
Recordable lines allow you to:
y or Y in the Recorded columnTo change Line Statuses in bulk:
Lines with any other Line Status (for example none or to-rewrite) will be exported as reference lines and will appear greyed out in the Recording Sheet.
Additional reference lines may also appear if:
Once your list is ready and Line Statuses are set correctly:
Click Recording XLSX in the VO Manager Results section.
If no lines are selected:
to-record or to-retake.A second dialog will appear with export options:
Confirm export options by clicking Export.
A confirmation message will indicate how many lines will change status to out-for-recording.
Choose a filename and save location in the file explorer.
If the Recording Sheet is intended for temporary recording:
_temp or _Temp to the filenameMyProject_Session01_temp.xlsx
For Recordable lines, enter:
y or Y in the Recorded column to mark the line as recordedIf the recorded line differs from the original text:
Save the Recording Sheet after completing the session.
In Frostune:VO, click Import in the toolbar.
Select Recording Sheet.
Choose the Recording Sheet file to import.
After import:
Lines marked with y or Y will change Line Status from:
out-for-recording → recorded
Their Wav Status will change to:
waiting-final-recorded, orwaiting-temp-recorded (for temporary sheets)If a Recordable line contains:
n or N in the Recorded columnto-recordIf the Recorded column is left empty:
out-for-recordingIf the Rewrite column was used on Locked lines:
A confirmation dialog will ask whether to:
